Payment Options: €95 per 4 week block OR €160 for 8 weeks

Facilitated by visual artist Katie Nolan who has 7 years experience teaching Art and Craft in Community Education. This 8 week course will give participants a broad introduction to the ancient art of Batik where hot wax is used as a resist to dyes on fabric. Participants will complete at least 3 finished pieces exploring colour theory, repeat pattern, stencil motif and a nature inspired work using tjanting and tik hand drawn methods.
