The brainchild of visual artist Carol Anne Connolly, the Arboreal Bookclub meets a few times a year to discuss books related to trees, nature, ecology & woodlands.
Cracks & Whispers April 2019
An intergenerational dance and photography project with visiting choreographer Isabel Bernhard and photographer Mario Soose culminating in a performance and exhibition during the May Sunday Festival.
Forest School Spring 2019
Performing artist Noelle O’Regan & sculptor Rob Ireson worked with 12 young people in Glenbower Wood. Over six sessions, the team used Forest School methodologies for hands on learning and creative exploration.
Creative Killeagh 2017-2018
Greywood Arts facilitated four community projects, two artist-in-the-community residencies, and many one-off events between October 2017 and the May Sunday festival in 2018. This project was made possible by funds from Cork County Council’s Creative Communities scheme, the Amenity Fund, and Creative Ireland.
