Theatre maker and storyteller Noelle Ní Ríagáin and Greywood Arts invite older aged women to come together to look at how we might celebrate today.
In Irish Mythology Lughnasadh began because the God Lugh held Funeral games in the memory of his Foster- Mother “Tailtiu”
Over the course of 4 workshops we will explore this story and discover how women of today might celebrate a funeral for a Goddess.

Noelle will facilitate movement, writing and vocal exercises to develop an outdoor performance with the group. On August 17th we will enter the garden at Greywood Arts to honor “Tailtiu’s” memory, acknowledge her significance and reflect on the cycles of life and nature.
