Light the way into the darker half of the year with your lantern at a Samhain Lantern Procession on Saturday Oct 30th.

Learn to make your own lantern out of willow and tissue paper with artist Caoimhe Dunn.
You can attend any of the three workshops on Monday Oct 25th (bank holiday) at 10, 12:30 & 3:30pm. They run for 1.5 to 2 hours and will be held semi-outdoors, sheltered in the Greywood Arts marquee (dress warmly!). All materials will be provided.
Workshops are open to all ages and family groups are encouraged to come together. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Book one ticket for each person in your group making their own lantern. You can add on free tickets for anyone who isn’t making their own.
Caoimhe will be working with the community to make large scale lanterns on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday that week, 27th -29th Oct. You’re invited to use your newfound skills to work on these collaborative pieces. Studio slots are 11am -1pm and 2pm -4pm all three days, they are free to attend, but should be booked in advance. You can book these here on Eventbrite.
All lanterns will be used in the procession on October 30th, but after that you can take yours home to keep.
