Youth Club Autumn 2023

Sept 12 – Nov 28, Tuesdays 5pm – 7pm

The autumn session will have 10 sessions (no meetings Oct 31st or Nov 14th)

  • Secondary school ages 12+
  • As with last year, one project will be in collaboration with the National Space Centre and will culminate in an exhibition there in November.

September:

  • 12th – Workshop with visiting filmmaker Kym Daniels
  • 19th – TBC
  • 26th – ‘source.txt’ collaborative poetry workshop with visiting poet Kelly Mullins. Participants will be introduced to her poetry installation and guided through several group and partnered writing exercises

October –> November 7th:

  • STEAM project – art and science workshops with Muireann Nic Caba to create an exhibition at the National Space Centre

November:

  • 17th – Space Fest Exhibition Event @ National Space Centre
  • 21st and 28th: Printmaking

Youth Zine Making Project at Greywood Arts

This summer we hosted a three part zine making project for secondary school aged students.

Spring 2022 we hosted a filmmaking and costuming project for secondary school age students.

Participants will collaboratively created a film which was screened for Cruinniú na nÓg – Ireland’s day of free creativity for children and young people.

This project is supported by Cork County Council.
